From the moment I learned to read, I have been obsessed with the written word.

Words have been my life.

As a child, I would write and illustrate little books and try to sell them to my friends.

Through junior high and high school, my love for words grew and grew. At the age of 13, I had a poem published in a poetry anthology. By the age of 15, I began writing my first novel. I have since abandoned it, but it is nice to go back read to see how far my writing has come.

I view my life as a story.

Many of my short stories are drawn from the craziness of my life. I often tell people, if I wrote an autobiography, no one would believe it.
